This beautifully designed book provides an introduction to one of Britain’s most eminent designer-artists; David Gentleman. It includes his early wood engravings, stamp designs, book and magazine covers and illustrations, posters, including his war protest and National Trust posters, the 100-metre long Charing Cross Station mural and more.

Gentleman attended the Royal College of Art in Kensington from the autumn of 1950, and was tutored by some of the finest artists of the time, including Edward Bawden and John Nash.
